Job Description


PRGX’s Advisory & Analytics group mission is to create incredible levels of economic value for our clients by improving their source to pay process, achieving measureable results faster through our unique combination of deep source to pay expertise, Big Data analytic techniques, and SAAS software Our approach to creating value is based on leveraging our clients own large scale data sets, employing the most effective big data analytic techniques and our highly collaborative process with our clients. The Advisory Project Manager is a critical role for the A&A practice, delivering high quality project for our clients. This leader will work to scope, deliver and lead A&A projects, working directly with clients and managing the project team on a day to day basis. Working closely with the A&A leadership team, the Advisory Manager is responsible for all aspects of project management and delivery.

  • Responsible for delivering assigned projects on-time, on budget, and with the necessary quality to exceed client expectations

  • Helps defines project scope, deliverables and meeting roadmaps with A&A project leadership team and clients

  • Identifies resources needed to complete the work and collaborates with staffing tea to assemble appropriate skills/teams

  • Forecasts, manages, and reports on project financials, planned vs actual project schedule, and resource utilization. Provides weekly status reports to communicate with A&A leadership

  • Manage PRGX teams of consultants, and sometimes, client staff at client site

  • Generates powerful insights on a broad range of client situations, translating them into innovation solutions and client results

  • Independently structures complete presentations of C-suite level quality, while appropriately leveraging team resources

  • Develops respectful peer relationships with key senior executives based on results, political judgment and joint development of priorities which may have the potential to create future demand for A&A

  • Involved in account planning and building broader relationships at the client and heavily involved in identifying relationship building needs for the leadership team

  • Leads the project team process intellectually and emotionally with a high degree of maturity and inspiration by embodying A&A’s vision, mission, values and strategy

  • Teach others how to develop valuable business development skills, tools, templates, and frameworks

  • Contributes to best practices, solution development and IP development for the firm

  • Meets travel requirements


Core Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred

  • Minimum 6 years of work experience, including at least 3 years experience in supply chain or source to pay

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in another consulting at top tier firm (examples of top tier firms include, but are not limited to: McKinsey, PWC, Deloitte, or Accenture)

  • Ability to distill multiple pieces of qualitative and quantitative information into meaningful storylines, conclusions and recommendations

  • Ability to influence others, and drive organizational buy-in and alignment, and facilitate change

  • Ability to facilitate senior client meetings and drive conversations with firm leadership

  • Attention to detail while managing competing priorities, tight time pressures and project budgets

  • Results-oriented, self-directed, inquisitive, and entrepreneurial-minded

  • Experience with leading multiple work streams and demonstrated ability to lead small-to-medium sized teams that may be geographically dispersed

  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suites of products, (i.e. Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and big data visualization tools (i.e. Alteryx, Tableau)
